Martin Edwards & Associates Inc. (MEA) has proven experience, expert and considerable corporate resources and staff, practical methods and procedures, and a comprehensive management approach to provide the high-quality consistent security operations required. MEA has established itself as a dependable and consistent security services provider. MEA - through the experience of our President Rickie Day - has been providing security and other services to the United States Government and business sectors on schedule for over 18 years. This includes oversight of past GSA contracts and about 60 other security contracts. Mr. Day has expertise in organizing, directing, and administrating security services to federal government agencies. He has supervised up to 600 employees supporting contracts throughout the country. All contracts under his supervision were performed on time and within budget. Mr. Day was a Special Agent for the City/County Bureau of Investigations (CCBI), where he was a special investigator for the district attorney’s office. He also taught law enforcement and security management for three years at Johnson Community College. Mr. Day began his career as police officer in North Carolina and maintains his certification. He was a Major with the Harnett County Sheriff's Department and holds a Master's Degree in Criminal Justice.
MEA's overall experience with guard and security services for the government comes from the extensive experience of our management team. The MEA Management team has experience in every kind of security and guard service. Our corporate and project personnel are skilled at working closely with customers to anticipate changed of evolving security conditions. Our experience with armed guard and security contracts enables us to support quick, seamless phase-in; provide sound, consistent and comprehensive security services; and to apply best practices and identify areas for improvement to continually enhance both the contract and program. Key personnel have successfully implemented and managed more than 200 guards and security services contracts, including previous IRS contracts in Columbia, S.C., Orlando, Florida and Andover, MA.
